About Dr. Plomaritis

Dr. Steven T. Plomaritis is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship subspecialty training in sports medicine, shoulder & knee reconstruction.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Colby College and his medical degree from Kirksville College Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic Surgical training in 1987. He then pursued fellowship training in shoulder and knee reconstruction at the Detroit Medical Center in 1988. After completing formal training, Dr. Plomaritis entered private practice including an associate professor faculty position at Wayne State University within The Orthopaedic Department.

He is a very good doctor, and he gets right down to the point .. Yea, u might be sitting there for a minute, but I feel that it is well worth it.. If you have to do physical therapy, it's right next door. When u have an appointment, ur therapy lady will come in with the doctor so she will know what else she need to do in physical therapy with you.  I had surgery on a Friday  and by Sunday,  Dr. Plomaritis was calling me personally to see how I'm feeling and what doctor will call you personally as far as i know none will call you.  The stuff is awesome.. I refer Dr. Plomaritis to anyone that wants a doctor that knows what he is doing and get to the point. Thanks Dr. Plomaritis for being such a awsome doctor.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Explains info to patients when/if you see him. Today I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room before being called back. When in the room Heather had told me 1 patient in front of me. After waiting in the room for another 45 minutes I asked her how much longer and she still said 1 patient in front of me. My appointment was at 9:45 and he was atleast 1.5 hours behind. What a waste of the one morning I had off of work, which would have been overtime but refused because of appointment. Will be going to see another doctor from now on.
